Hydrogen Station for Beijing Olympics

Hydrogen Station for Beijing Olympics

50Nm3/h SMR Hydrogen Plant for Beijing Olympic Hydrogen Station

Back in 2007, right before the Beijing Olympics started to open. Ally Hi-Tech participated in a national research and development project, aka national 863 projects, which is for the hydrogen station for Beijing Olympics.

The project is a 50 Nm3/h steam methane reforming (SMR) on-site hydrogen refueling station. At that time, an SMR hydrogen plant with such a small capacity had never been done in China before. The bid invitation for this hydrogen station was opened to the whole country, but few would take the bid, for the project is tough on technology, and the schedule is very tight.

As a pioneer in the Chinese hydrogen industry, Ally Hi-Tech made a step forward and cooperated with Tsinghua University on this project together. Thanks to the expertise and rich experience of the expert team, we accomplished the project in time from design and manufacturing to commissioning, and it was accepted on 6th August 2008.

The hydrogen refueling station served the hydrogen vehicles during the Olympics and Paralympics with excellent performance.

For none of us had made such a small SMR plant before, this plant became a milestone in Chinese hydrogen development history. And the status of Ally Hi-Tech in the Chinese hydrogen industry was further approved.
