When carrier rocket “Long March 5B” was launched successfully and made its debut flight, Ally Hi-Tech received a special gift from Wenchang Satellite Launch Center, a rocket model of “Long March 5”. This model is a recognition of high purity hydrogen generation plant we provided for them.
This is not the first time we supply high-purity hydrogen solutions for the satellite launch centers. From 2011 to 2013, Ally Hi-Tech participated in three national research & development projects, aka national 863 projects, which are related to the Chinese aerospace industry.
Wenchang Launch Center, Xichang Launch Center and Beijing 101 Aerospace, Ally Hi-Tech’s hydrogen solutions covered all satellite launch centers in China one by one.
These hydrogen production plants adopt the methanol reforming technology associated with pressure swing adsorption (PSA). Because hydrogen production by methanol can easily address the raw material lack problem. Especially for remote regions, where natural gas pipelines can’t reach. Also, it is mature technology with simple process, and the requirements for the operators are not very high.
Up to now, the hydrogen plants have been generating qualified hydrogen for more than decade and will be keep serving at the satellite launch centers for the next decade.
